I had low expectations when I sought this care for my mother. The people that came to her mother's home (when they showed up) were irresponsible and often rude. My wife had a terrible experience with two home care companies in the SF Bay Area when her mother needed that kind of help. It was obvious that each of them was professional, kind, and interested in my mom's welfare. Each person that was with my mom left a page of notes describing what happened and my mother's condition during their shift. My mother found the presence of the Around the Clock caregivers very comforting. After the first week of 24-hour per-day companionship my mother's condition improved and Around the Clock was very flexible in scaling back coverage to just one 10:00pm to 6:00am shift.
